Lehigh County Schools Joint Purchasing Board
The Lehigh County Schools Joint Purchasing Board through the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute is pleased to announce that we have implemented an electronically sealed bidding solution to help streamline the bidding process for our cooperative purchasing program. We would also like to announce that we have selected eSchoolMall and its easyBid? solution as our e-commerce software provider. With easyBid, we have transitioned our current paper-based bidding process to a fully automated electronic bidding solution which is accessible via the Internet.

The benefits that vendors will realize through eSchoolMall’s easyBid solution include:
  • The ability to view bids electronically via the Internet and submit bid responses electronically.
  • Tabulation of quantities requested and ship to locations for each school. (This feature is not yet available)
  • Online availability of all competitive pricing following the bid opening. Because vendors can participate in the bid opening process remotely, vendors no longer have to spend time traveling and attending a bid opening in person to get competitive information.
  • Online availability of historical bid pricing and vendor award history.
  • Elimination of unnecessary paper and overnight mail costs.
